The Au'ra Refugee
Carissa was born somewhere within Garlean Held lands, Her mother was a Tribal healer named Aimi Bah'Lis who was taken as a slave during the Garlean occupation of Doma and Hingasi, Her father was a Garlean Guard who was removed and tried as a Traitor for siring a daughter with a "savage".
After this Aimi turned her back on healing to raise her daughter, Aimi did everything she could to teach her daughter everything she could teaching the child to read and write, how to speak Hyur, Hingan, and Xelliac, Carissa even picked up a little Garlean as she grew up.
At the age of five, Carissa started to show her mother's natural talent for healing and quickly outdid her mother with talent and skill.
Aimi sadly passed away when Carissa was Sixteen from illness, Something Carissa could not save her from.
Before she died Aimi had made arrangements for Carissa to flee the work camp they were in and find a better life, Carissa did as her mother wished and one night under the cover of darkness fled.
It would take carissa Two years to find her way to Eorzia due to having very little Gil, She arrived on a ship in Limsa Lominsa where she heard talk of Ul'dah.
Carissa came to Ul'dah with bright hopes and dreams but found more hardships, Poor and with little Gil she found herself going hungry again.
However, amongst the corrupted brass blades and the greedy merchants, She found kindness and friends who helped her find her feet and started her on the road to her dream. They Took her to Gridania where she joined the Conjurers guild and the twin adders as a Medical assisaint. Carissa quickly rose though the ranks of Conjurers guild due to her latent tallent, Only held back by her un-willingness to do halm with the elements, Though in time she learned to get over her hesitation and was able to finaly commune with the elements.
The wanna-be doctor
After a while Carissa found herself in a relationship with a talented alchemist, She sold a ring her mother had given her to buy an apartment and many textbooks and equipment to start her on the road to becoming a doctor, She sought out teachers and chances to learn the skills she needed. Her study and work-centric life started to put a strain on her friendships and even her relationship, but being young and eager she was blind to this, Thanks to her relationship her Alchemical skills grew quickly, however, she was far from a master and after finding out she was infertile due to her stunted growth in the slave camp, Carissa was devastated. Besides being a doctor her only other dream was to be a mother, So using research conducted by her girlfriend, Carissa attempted to change that through alchemical means, However. Carissa was still young and not at the same level as her partner and in essence, Created a fantasia that transformed Carissa from Au'ra to Veira, Albeit in the most painful way. The transformation was not quick and seamless, It was slow at first, with gradual painful changes that began to happen more and more, Eventually Carissa sought help from an unlikely source who accelerated the transformation in full turning the once small skinny Au'ra into the busty Veira you see today.
Finding herself
After Carissa's transformation things did not go smoothly, Her relationship ended and she retreated fully from the world and became a shut-in, working and studying all the time, Her social skills suffered due to this, However it had helped her learn and grow at an accelerated rate in terms of her medical and alchemical knowledge. Eventually she left her home long enough to gain employment at a medical clinic where she was given control and freedom, Her talent and skills grew quickly in a profesional enviroment, however when it was clear that the doctor who said he would teach her was not doing so she left seeking a greater challenge. She began to work as an independent, Traveling the world and aiding where she could,selling potions designed to aid same-sex couples in the bedroom to fund her work and study. Eventually Carissa found herself in the far east and began to look into her late mothers past, She found it and was effectively reinvigorated with a new sense of who she was, Where she had come from and what she wanted, And so she went for it. Carissa started to remove elements of work and study from her home, she joined a Free company of adventures as a clinical doctor though left after a few short months when she felt like no one listened to her instructions and began to endanger themselves further and was allowed by the chief of medicine. Eventually she began to work in Ul'dah for the Imortal Flames as a Triage surgon, and for a Bordello as a sexual health physician, Though she left the bordello with her freind due to corruption with it's Officers.
When war came Carissa was sent out to the front to work triage at Gimlit Dark, Carissa worked Tirelessly for days and personaly saved the lives of over thirty wounded.When she returned to Ul'dah after the battle, She was officially given the title of Doctor by The sultana herself, When Old Sharlayan allowed outsiders to visit it's was lands once more Carissa did not renew her contract with the flames, And took a sabbatical to study in the vast halls of Noumenon and in the classes of the stadium, improving her skill in alchemy and aetheroiligy.

Generally, I am up for all kinds of RP, Casual walks ups and social RP, Healing and Aiding Others, Just ask or don't be scared to start RP with me.I am UK based so active times are a little odd but usually I am on from 7AM Est till 11/12 Am off for a bit to make dinner then back on from around 2 pm till around 7pm on a weekday I can do later on weekends (or if I can't sleep due to insomnia)I do suffer from Dyspraxia a form of Dyslexia so sometimes my spelling and gramma suffer so please bear with me if it rears its ugly head
